Good Times 2022

All photos - credit goes to Luann Burton. Thank You Luann!!

We all had a great time at Coombs Bluegrass Festival this weekend past. It was hot but we were cool in the shade. The beautiful lawn lovingly cared for by our caretaker Wayne, acted as a carpet both to walk on but also to enhance the sound. Thanks Wayne for that luxury & people danced to the music of our wonderful bands. Thanks all for coming!

A very special thanks to James Telfer who worked endlessly to bring you an incredible ear listening experience. Having a bluegrass player edit sound was wonderful. Thank you James and performers!

Along with James we must thank Angie Harriott our emcee, who announced and unfolded the festival plan to everyone. You did a super job Angie, thanks.

To the amazing before and after Crew who set up and tear down the festival, thanks for coming back year after year. You do a great job!

Cruising the campground and stage for photogenic material, our photographer Luann Burton took many photos. Well done Luann and thank you.

Our early set up crew head Boomer, Cliff,

Ben, Bob, Wayne & Tim couldn’t have done it without you! Our new volunteers Kim, Rob, Cory, and Mr 50-50 Bob our sincerest thanks. The cooks Ray, Ben & Sharon etc thanks for bringing us great food in our own concession plus our vendors Cafe Crave and The Hot Dog Guy, well done . To our office crew Luann for decals and amazing photos thank you, and to Carol our office gal, I can’t begin to count the endless things you do beside answer the phone . Thanks for all of them. To the other volunteers I haven’t mentioned thanks for being part of our bluegrass event. .

Thanks to our sponsors Long & McQuade, Quality Foods, Petmania, Kerrect RV, Creekmore Coffee, Milner Gardens & Anchor Realty.

A huge thank you to Gidget Lowther who got our website up again with info about our festival at www.coombsbluegrass.org and Sheena McCorquodale who did the artwork and original graphics years ago.

My last thanks is to the Coombs Hillier Recreation and Community Organization for having a place where we have freedom to make bluegrass fly. To Cliff Raymer who got all permits and event okays then got sick, our sincere thanks for wading thru that.

To the people who came here, many thanks for coming, it is you the festival goer who makes this such an amazing experience.

Will the Circle Be Unbroken. See you next year.
