Did God intervene at the Battle of Midway?

If you study the battle, there were just a very few small actions--a Japanese reconnaisance plane's radio malfunction, a chance sighting by a U.S. dive bomber squadron while flying far off-course, catapult problems on the Japanese carrier Hiryu--that made the difference.

The battle occured within six months of the turning points at Stalingrad and El Alamein. It's hard to think of God siding with Stalin over Hitler, but it was undeniably that very short period of time that turned the tide of the war for the Allies.

All the incidents you mentioned can be explained. Where did the supernatural influence come into play? If there was a God, why didn't he stop the war in the first place with his well-timed 'incidents?' Where was he when 6 million of his Chosen people were incinerated or 80-100,000 vaporised by nuclear detonations?
