If you were in the Civil war back then...would you be a confederate or in the union?

I would've been in the 3rd Virginia Regiment, of Kemper's Brigade, of Pickett's Division, of Longstreet's 1st Corps.... staring belly-up on the gentle slopes of Cemetery Ridge....within reach of the copse of trees and stone fence....Rats!!!. I didn't make it.
