Chapter. Motivations for Reusing Open Source Software

Description

Lead architects on large projects provide another perspective on how to find open source software projects that are suitable for reuse. This chapter will be an extension of the paper by Madanmohan and De' (2004) in IEEE Software that reported on a series of interviews that they conducted. Since then, De' has looked at open source reuse as a business strategy.
