V.S.U. Coaching Career & Other Recognitions

Coach Hall accepted a tenure to become the Head Football Coach at Virginia State University 1949-1953. The Virginia State Trojans won 25 games- lost 14; tied 2

The 1952 team was voted National Champion with a 9 - 0 record. It was invited to play a post season game in the famed Orange Blossom Classic in the Orange Bowl in Miami Florida. He returned to Cardoza High School in 1954, to keep his status with the District of Columbia Board of Education. His relationship with Virginia State always remained in good standing. He would attend all of their Homecoming games to Cheer them on.
