Preserve & Restore The Sal Hall House

Challenge Hope and Rescue- Will You? As years come and go, the home of Sal Hall remains, almost 80 years, nestled in the rolling hills of the Deanwood area within the inner city of Washington DC, far northeast.

Our goal at the Challenge Hope and Rescue Historic Preservation Mission, Inc. is to Preserve and Restore Specific Residences (those of the Neighborhood's Forgotten Heroes) into Teaching Houses, depicting an interior of 3D models of the neighborhood during the 1930's through the 1950's-highlighting individual accomplishments of the Neighborhood Forefathers and their contributions to the area during this historic time, in which the African American community flourished as self supporting entities. We want to educate our youths through participation, enriching the young minds to gear them to success in academics and contribution with pride to their environments. The preservation and renovation of the Sylvester R. Hall House, is our first endeavor of establishing this type of neighborhood project.
