  Won 105 games-lost 22; tied 8. Eight undefeated seasons; 1 perfect season (undefeated, untied, unscored on- 1948).     The undefeated 1955 team played in the first city championship since the game became integrated. Results: Cardozo 6-Gonzaga 6. Teams from 1942 through 1948 were undefeated in 63 consecutive games.
Sal Hall's coaching career began at Washington D.C.'s Howard University- where he was Assistant Basketball Coach for 6 years. Coach Hall graduated from Howard with a A.B & M.A in Education, as an undergraduate, won 11 varsity letters in major sports: Football (3); basketball (4); swimming (2), soccer (2).
