Two New Cruise Offerings

Carrollton, Texas – Carrollton-based Crafty Neighbor is pleased to announce the addition of two new dates to the company’s slate of scrapbook cruise offerings. In addition to the annual 7-night cruise, Crafty Neighbor is launching a new series of scrapbooking cruises called Scrap Cruise Lite that is designed to appeal to the budget-minded individual who would like a shorter and more basic scrapbooking cruise experience.

Crafty Neighbor is already known locally for fun, weeklong scrapbooking cruises to the Caribbean each year. During these traditional sailings, participants engage in card making, scrapbooking, and crafting workshops, as well as enjoy an open crop room to work on their own projects. Guests are treated throughout the cruise with a variety of surprises from door decorations to onboard credit and “Pillow Gifts” left for them each night. Door prizes, games, make-n-takes and other ship-board events round out the activities. The 7-night cruises depart out of Galveston onboard Royal Caribbean ships.

While the classes, workshops, and other special amenities featured on Crafty Neighbor’s standard scrapbooking cruises are all included for one low price, the Scrap Cruise Lite cruises take a more scaled-down, no-frills approach, providing only the essentials for a fun scrapbooking cruise. The Scrap Cruise Lite series will feature 4- and 5-night cruises, a la carte workshop pricing, and a more flexible and less structured activity schedule. Although it lacks some of the treats and pampering of Crafty Neighbor’s traditional cruises, this cruise promises to be packed will all the fun and excitement that Crafty Neighbor has to offer. The Scrap Cruise Lite groups will sail annually on Carnival cruise ships out of Galveston, Texas.

The first cruise in the new series departs October 3, 2016 from Galveston, Texas, and is bound for Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico onboard the Carnival Liberty, which will be arriving in Galveston in March. Due to the timing of this new cruise series, the next traditional scrapbooking cruise has been moved to January 8, 2017 and will be hosted on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas which began sailing out of Galveston this fall. Beginning with this cruise in January, Crafty Neighbor will offer two scrapbooking cruises per year – one standard cruise, and one “Lite” cruise.

Registration for both cruises is now open. For more information, about Crafty Neighbor, or scrapbooking cruises, please visit http://www.craftyneighbor.com
