Climate System Laboratory is the first climate physics research group at Ewha Womans University, established in 2010 by Prof. Yong-Sang Choi. We serve to meet recently increasing demands to study climate and environmental changes, and train female scholars with excellence in research.

How will the earth's climate change in the future?
The research in our lab is primarily about understanding the impact of human excess greenhouse gas emissions on the climate system. This is a difficult scientific problem because there are numerous unknown climate feedbacks on Earth that determine the rate and direction of climate change. Applying scientific discovery to the world
Our laboratory applies scientific discoveries of climate change and disaster prediction information to the world. In particular, we are making sure that information is delivered through mobile apps and the web to residents of Southeast Asia and Pacific island countries vulnerable to natural disasters.
