USAMTS

The United States of America Mathematical Talent Search (USAMTS) is an annual contest consisting of three rounds, each lasting a month. There are five open-ended problems in each round, and each problem requires a full justification. The competitor may use any tools available to him or her except for other people (so this includes calculators, books, computers, etc.). If the competitor writes a program (Mathematica, Matlabs, Java, C++, etc.), he or she must include the source code as part of the justification. If the competitor cumulatively scores high enough on the USAMTS, he or she qualifies for the AIME with an AMC 12 base score of 100. Sign up for this contest at:
