The girls team finished first at the MSHSL Section 7 race yesterday! Ellie Frischmon won the race, Hannah Stec finished 6th, Hannah Janzig finished 12th, Mikayla Granfors finished 16th, Sophie Janzig finished 27th and Bailey LeTourneau finished 36th. The team will compete at the State Meet next Wednesday at Giants Ridge. Ellie Frischmon, Hannah Stec and Hannah Janzig qualified as individuals as well. Ellie has qualified for state 5 times!
The boys team had some falls and finished in tenth place. Anders Brown won the the race and Jamie Mower had a good race as well, finishing 16th overall. Anders will compete at the State Meet next Wednesday, for the 6th year in a row. Anders has qualified for state 7th through 12th grade - that is quite an accomplishment!
