At 17 years old, Mikaela Shiffrin becomes the third youngest American to win a World Cup race, behind Kiki Cutter (16 years, 7 months, 1 day) and Judy Nagel (17 years, 5 months, 12 days). She secured the victory by .29 seconds in Slalom and takes the Slalom World Cup points lead.
