7: History of Computers
Timeline Software
Create a page called History of Computers.
Getting started
Like the women in Hidden Figures, we were the generation of people who worked, lived, and created the transition from the generation where everything was mostly manual, to this generation where everything is mostly digital.
I have cleaned up the assignment and many years of bookmarks on the topics. Please use the search links from the Stories page or from this Bookmarks page. When you use the searches on the Stories page, remember that you can switch between text, images, and video at the top of the search screen. The bookmarks page is a cumulation of links I have gathered from students who did original work rather than the same lame links used by other students. Do your own original work and find your own links without using the same ones that other students in the class are using. Remember that you are allowed to copy text as long as it is linked. Find the few sentences that really describe the essence of the story.
Be sure to view your own timeline and check ALL the links. Failure to do so will lead me to conclude that you want me to watch and grade a timeline that you are not willing to look at yourself.
You are expected to learn about these brief stories and describe a few of them briefly in class and on your Learning Blog.
Pop out this document. It has instructions and links for this assignment.
