Create a new brain named "(Firstname Lastname) Devices, Operating systems, Ecosystems"
The complete software is installed in the classroom and you may install on your own computers. If you are working on campus from a site that does not have the software installed, it should install successfully on the desktop, although you will need to do so each time you log in. You will work on a local brain using installed software. You will sync anything you do locally with the cloud brain which is what displays on your portfolio page.
In the WebBrain, in settings, make your mindmap unlisted, as follows. This is the equivalent of sharing:
Save when done.
Embed The Brain mindmap in your portfolio page, as follows:
Right click on the background in your WebBrain and choose Share. Embed it as you would a PDF by pasting the code into the HTML of the page and adjusting the properties of the gadget.
Place an image (capture thought icon) for any node where you have added links
Create Pins for each node where you have entered links
The MindMaps from the end 2 previous semesters are linked on the sidebar.
