Livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats, are common in traditional orchards, but these are not the only mammals you can see. While deer and other wild animals have long been intentionally kept at bay by a hedge, fence, or other barrier in production orchards to prevent predation of valued fruit, many modern traditional orchards actively encourage these animals, and a host of others, into the orchard.
Some mammals you might see in an orchard include:
Cattle
Sheep
Goats
Deer
Foxes
Rabbits
Hedgehogs
Badgers
