NSCL 2022-2023
This year we hope to have ALL our meets in person. The dates are:
Meet 1 at Mandela Monday October 10th Indigenous people's day
Meet 2 at Santa Fe Prep Friday November 4th
Meet 3 at ATC on Monday January 16th 2023 MLK day
Meet 4 at Santa Fe Indian School February 3 2023
Teams of 4 players compete for trophies over the course of all the meets.
Teams should be either High School, Mid school (9th grade and under) or Elementary school (grade 6 and under). Trophies can be won by the best performing teams in each section. For each meet you should email Mark a couple of days before the event to tell him how many teams you plan to bring and in which section. Then on the day you should check in by 9:30 to confirm your numbers. All players play 4 games against other schools at each meet. About 1 week ahead of each meet I will send you details of how to get there, concession stand info etc.
This year we will ask you for $20 per team in league fees. Less than last year! Not too many other expenses have gone down. We hope you can bring some fine chess players and or some promising players.
