Every year I think, perhaps the scientific community will reward my fumbling attempts to teach the meaning of the periodic table with a Nobel Prize so that I can quit teaching and go to Bora Bora. I imagine having one of the little cottage huts that sit over the water. Anyway, to check the latest winners, you just have to click the link below.
THE SCIENCE SPOT CHEMISTRY LESSON PLANS AND WORKSHEETS
They play a game called "Name that Compound." There are 9 ball and stick figures that can be rotated for better viewing. The atoms are color-coded.
