On tonight's all-new Shifters, the Shifter returns to Grey City to find it devoid of life. More specifically, the Shift Agents return to discover that the entire population of the city has entered stasis tubes in its homes! (Seriously, when did those get there?!) The city has never been so peaceful...and Michael doesn't like it; he smells a rat! (Not an actual rat, but there are those, too.) Something strange happened while the Shifter was away, and Matt and Gemma are going to get to the bottom of it. But what they find may send them running into stasis chambers of their own! Catch an all-new episode of Shifters, Season 3, Episode 10: "Population: Stasis," tonight at 9 PM EDT (next)!
An all-new episode of the TV Channel Original Series Shifters premieres tonight at 9/8c, only on The TV Channel.
Today also marked the announcement of a third feature-length special episode of Shifters, to be aired Christmas Day this year (immediately preceding this year's Doctor Who Christmas Special, of course)! 2010 saw the premiere of the first ever feature-length special episode of a TV Channel Original Series (barring the five-part, fifteen-hour miniseries that concluded Split Souls that summer), Shifters: Time Shift, which was a huge, epic success. Then, this past December saw the premiere of another special, Shifters: Sky Shift, which was even more of a success!
The producers of Shifters are back with and pleased to announce a third special, Shifters: Gear Shift! They were quick to decline giving the TV Channel's press department any further information at this time, but the TV Channel has confirmed (just check our programming calendar!) that the TV movie will air at 7 PM EST on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. The TV Channel has also confirmed that the previous two Shifters specials will receive encore presentations over the two days preceding the premiere of Shifters: Gear Shift: Shifters: Time Shift will be aired at 10 PM EST on Sunday, December 23, 2012 (immediately following the premiere of the third season of Across the Barrier), and Shifters: Sky Shift will be aired at 10 PM EST on Monday, December 24, 2012.
