Project Fit America Grant

The CGS has been awarded the Project Fit America Grant, worth over $20,000 in specialized physical education outdoor fitness apparatus! The apparatus has been installed this summer and will be ready for use in the Fall. The grant includes professional development for staff, unit plans, and new opportunities for the students at the CGS. A special thanks goes out to Jayson Ramalho who wrote a large portion of the grant, and to Principal Chris Reeve and Supervisor of PE, Health, FCS, Jeff Osgood for supporting the project, and on the completion of the grant application. Methuen will be the first school in Massachusetts to be awarded this National Grant.
