Feb 22, 2025: CFUW Clubs across Canada had 179 walkers in Coldest Night of the Year and together raised over $73,400 for local services to combat homelessness! Six CFUW BC teams with 44 walkers raised over $9800.

March 6-17:  Several BC members are part of the CFUW delegation in New York City for the UN Commission on the Status of Women's 67th session.  Priority theme: Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. Review theme: Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls (agreed conclusions of 62nd session). 

February 25: Coldest Night of the Year CFUW teams fundraise in their communities for people facing hunger and homelessness.

February 22:  CFUW BC Council advocacy webinar on "Giving Kinship Care a Voice" in BC cohosted with Fairness for Children Raised by Relatives.
