March 10-21, 2025: 21 CFUW delegates from BC and across Canada are participating in the UN Commission on the Status of Women: CSW69 / Beijing+30 in New York City!

The main focus of CSW69 is to review and appraise the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995) on its 30th anniversary; a review focus includes identifying current challenges affecting its implementation and the achievement of gender equality and empowerment of women and how that contributes to the full realization of the 2023 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
CFUW Letter on the War and Humanitarian Crisis in Israel and Gaza
On October 27, 2023, CFUW National sent a letter on the war and humanitarian crisis in Israel and Gaza to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as well as Ministers Mélanie Joly, Ahmed Hussen, Bill Blair, and Marci Ien, and Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations Robert Rae.
