CRERMA
The driveway is owned by the residents and each resident has an equal share in its ownership.
To prevent future cutting of corners and road edge erosion, CRERA will be exploring options for road changes and repair in 2015/2016
Speed Limit: 25 mph
The State and county recognizes a 10mph speed limit on private drives. We have a posted 25mph speed
Speeds over 25 mph will erode the roadway more quickly; to ensure the chip sealed drive sustainability and limit repair please do not exceed the posted speed limit.
To ensure the safety of walking residents and neighbors working the frontage of their properties, speeds should not exceed 25 mph and slower speeds encouraged when you see neighbors walking, running, or working.
Under RCW RCW 46.61.419, the Board has the authority to issue citations for speeding, but we choose, at this time, to encourage neighbors to slow down when driving in the neighborhood.
The estimated cost to repave our road in 2005 was approx. $ 250,000.00. The road fees were raised at that time to $300.00 to prepare for a chip seal. We are below our estimated goal. When residents do not pay the road fee, the community is left in shortfall in the budget; unpaid road fees result in a lien on a resident’s property.
Some road maintenance may be expected in 2016/2017.
Please keep your ditches clear of debris and especially trees, which impede water flow and/or damage neighbor properties and road ways.
