The email list is where all club activities are discussed - shed openings, clinics, road trips, social get-togethers, miscellaneous chatter.
It is hosted on Cornell's list server, but can be read on the web at:
You do not need to subscribe to the list to read these messages. If you'd like the ability to post messages, however, then you must be subscribed to Cornell's list. Do NOT subscribe directly to the google group.
To subscribe, send an email to
with the single word “join” in the body of the email.
To unsubscribe, send an email to
with the single word "leave" in the body of the email.
Note that this is different from the list email address!

Do NOT post directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Passive Participation: In the summertime, traffic on the list can be overwhelming. If you do not want your inbox clogged with list messages, but would still like to post, you could do the following:
- subscribe to the list, per instructions above
- send the command "set nomail" to WINDSURFING-L-REQUEST@CORNELL.EDU. This will stop list traffic from being e-mailed to you, but would still allow you to post messages.
