CasualConc 3.5 beta (20240526) & STFDB Creator 1.1 (20240524)
I just released a new version of CasualConc and STFDB Creator. I haven't been able to fully test the new features, so it is still a beta and there may be many bugs remaining.
CasualConc
Topic Modeling (with MALLET)
I incorporated functions of CasualMallet into CasualConc. You need to install MALLET separately (CasualConc has an install helper)
Displaying MALLET output on CasualConc
Run some statistical analysis with the output data
Some R visualization tools can import MALLET results
File Processing
CasualMallet has a function to handle text, such as extracting specified sections, splitting text files, etc. A new feature on CasualConc is this text file handling part. You can split text files into segments, extracting text from files using context/header tag settings, POS-tagging text in the process, etc.
Statistics
You can run basic linear multiple regression analysis with many diagnostic plots and model selection features.
experimentally implemented dominance analysis and random forest for independent variable evaluation (Mizumoto, 2023)
GrammarDB mode
The database table structures are modified (nothing has really changed on the interface)
you can create a new structure of database files on the updated STFDB Creator
Bug Fixes
numerous bug fixes on various tools
STFDB Creator
Updated to create a database files with a revised table structure
you can create a hybrid database file which has old and new table structures
