Install Doulos SIL font

To use serif font on IPATypist, you need to have Doulos SIL font installed on your Mac. Installing it is very easy on Mac OS X.

Install Doulos SIL font on Mac OS X

First, go to Doulos SIL Font Home.

Click Download on the right.

On the next page, scroll down until you find this.

Click Download "DoulosSIL4.106.zip". (You might see a newer version.)

After you download the zip file (in the Download folder), double click it to unarchive the .zip file.

You will find the following files/folder in the DoulosSIL folder.

Simply double click DoulosSILR.ttf icon. A window shows up and shows what this font is.

Click Install Font at the bottom.

Font Book.app starts up and the Doulos SIL font is now installed and ready to use.
