The following file types are supported, but reading non-plain text files takes more time to process. Check the file types you want to treat. Plain text files are always readable.

Allow editing of original file
If this is checked, you can edit the original text in a panel in File Mode or open the file with specified applications in both modes. You can select if you want to activate this in File Mode only or in both modes.
Allow editing of database file
If this is checked, you can edit the database entry (the paragraph) in which the selected concordance line appears on a panel.
*Both of these only word with Concord.
Default Applications
You can choose default applications to open certain file types in File View and Concord. Default applications are shown above. To select an application, click Select button next to the one you want to change.
You can specify default folders for Corpus files, Database files, and Output files. These will be selected when you open/save files. Click Select button to set a default folder. If none is selected, the folder used last time will open.
