Time Saving Tips on the Golf Course

1. Be ready to putt when it is your turn; Use continuous putting in your foursomes

2. Always carry a spare ball in your pocket in the event you must hit a provisional ball.

When hitting a provisional ball from the tee, you must wait until the rest of your foursome hits.

3. Assisting a fellow player cuts time. Rake the trap for her if she is still away from the

hole, and if you pull her cart around the green, bring her putter to her.

4. Try to keep pace with the group ahead.

5. Always park the cart or place your bag between the green you are playing and the

path to the next tee. This allows you to be out of range of an oncoming shot from players behind you.

6. Be sure to watch your partner's ball on each shot should your help be needed locating an errant ball.

7. If you feel your ball may be lost, please play a provisional ball immediately, after announcing that you will do so.

8. Know your score for each hole at all times. This will save counting strokes after you have finished putting.

9. Mark your scores after you leave the green, rather than standing on or in front of it with your scorecard.

10. Repair ball marks and divots while waiting for others to hit.

11. Carry more than one club to each shot to avoid returning to the golf cart.

12. Limit search time for lost balls to 2 minutes.
