The company and competition weren't bad either. Some might wonder what effect the giving or receiving of strokes had upon determining the winning teams in our alternate shot format. Interestingly enough, this spreadsheet analysis showed that 6 matches were won by the team which received strokes and 5 were won by the team which gave strokes. There was one match in which no strokes were given. Statistically speaking, does that mean that there was no clear advantage one way or the other in this day's alternate shot play? Perhaps the Bowlin Cup may just be a simple test of one's ability to play to her handicap on any given day. Continued good luck, ladies! Enjoy!$!
