Team 4, the Red Hitters, Prevail in 2018 Bowlin Cup

Post date: May 12, 2018 1:41:33 AM

Team 4, the Red Hitters, needed to overcome a point deficit going into the final day of Singles play in the Bowlin Cup ... and they did! Team 3 was leading the tournament after Wednesday play by a single point, 8.5 points to Team 4's 7.5 points. You can never tell what is going to happen in Singles matches though and, to add to the excitement, the teams were playing each other. Play on Fridays in the Bowlin Cup tend to be dramatic events with teammates anxiously awaiting results from all team members.

Teams 3 and 4 had separated themselves from Teams 1 and 2 after Wednesday play. In the end, team scores were: Team 1, 9.5 pts; Team 2, 10.5 pts; Team 3, 13.5 pts; and Team 4, 14.5 pts.

We would especially like to thank the ladies who were subs this week. The Bowlin Cup is only successful because these ladies are always willing to step in to help the teams compete at full strength. Congratulations to all our players! Hope to see you again next year!!!
