CO2 Emissions 2025

Last year I started a topic on climate change. You can read it here . As we are experiencing our first heat wave of the year at the end of May, I have recently reloaded the CO2 emissions data. Now they include the full year 2025 and the first 3 months of 2026.

As you can see from the picture below, it does not look good: since the year 2022 the trend has been upwards and so far 2026 seems to be on track to continue the same way - mind the 2026 data is only until March.

On the chart below you can see that in 2025 Asia accounts for more than 50% of the worldwide CO2 emissions.

Here is a breakdown by country for the year 2025 and below for 2026 so far.
