As we near the end of the year, I wanted to publish a quick recap...
We have started working with KNIME around June of this year. This is a recap of what we did since then until now, near the end of 2025:
Created a functioning data warehouse prototype on Airline flight data (Architecture) , including ETL workflows to load data and an Agentic AI workflow to search and reserve flights (Agentic AI)
Obtained KNIME certification up to Level 4 and Certified Trainer (Certification Badges)
Published my first book on Amazon about Data Warehousing with KNIME www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FRSWMV37
I was awarded Contributor of the Month of Community Forum in November (and got a nice T-shirt)
Developed a Climate Change data store and a set of Data Apps to explore it. I also developed a Monetizing system, which allows to charge external users for the use of your Data Apps and keep track of this usage (Monetizing data apps - Front end)
Started work on a new book about the Climate Change application and its environment.
What will I do in 2026 ?
- Keep adding new data sources to the Climate Change environment
- Maybe retake the Level 4 AI course
- Learn how to develop new nodes
- Any suggestions are welcome...
