How do I upload a file for batch processing?
Uploading formatted files for batch georeferencing
It is easy to upload files for batch georeferencing once the file is properly formatted and saved. Please see the help on formatting batch files for more information about making sure your file is properly formatted. To upload a batch file, first make sure you are registered and login to the batch service. Then simply click the "upload new project" link. Browse for a file to upload and then hit "Submit". Depending on the file size and other batch processes operating, it might take some time for the file to upload. During upload, you will notice a counter showing how long it has so far taken to complete the operation. After uploading, the batch processor moves immediately to batch georeferencing, and you should notice a "progress bar" showing you how what percentage of the records have been georeferenced (the green color representing percent completed). This process may take a long time, since each georeference can be faster or slower depending on the time for processing the record set. Be patient. Once completed, your result set is presented to you on your dashboard for further processing.
