Picket Fence era...

These photos make it clear the Picket Fence era spaned the horse and buggy to the early vitage automobile era. The only defining date when the  Post and Rail era is the presence of the new barrier system at the time of the  Suspension Bridge and "Mother" Orangee Tree dedication on November 27, 1926.

Note that in both photos the orange tree appears very mature. Note the size of the tree in relation to the size of both the buggy and the vintage auto.
