TEACHER NOTES:
Essential Question: What were some of the challenges that early European explorers and settlers faced when they came to North America for the first time? How did those challenges shape their decisions, their actions, their faith, and their chances of survival in the new world?
What is my daily measurable outcome? Students are able to research Native Americans and early explorers and colonists online; collaborate online to produce an original written description of their research results; cite sources using MLA style of citation.
What will the learning look like for me to know that students are meeting the outcome? Students will have created a document, shared it with their group and the teacher, and have begun researching and writing descriptions while citing sources using MLA format as they go
