Beverley chess club has a friendly atmosphere where over the board chess is hosted.

The playing room is located upstairs.
Club nights are on Wednesday, from 19:00h onwards.
Junior sessions, September till May:
Beginners: 2 Wednesdays a month, 6-7pm.
Non-beginners: 2 Mondays a month, 6-7:15pm.
The beginners sessions are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who know how to play the game but have not had any proper training yet.
The non-beginners sessions are for those who have at least 1 year of training.
Session dates vary during June, July and August.

Douglas Vleeshhouwer finished 4.5 out of 5 to win the "adult" championship this year.
Jamie Fisher won the junior title for a 2nd year in a row, unbeaten this year with 5 points out of 5 games!
