This section is mostly about people.

Hanging out with my friends Alex and Melissa, I reminded myself to include how I really loved their style and taste. They are the types of people who might live in the Research Triangle of North Carolina, an apartment in Hoboken just across from NYC, or right in Miami. We went to a craft fair which was great but not like I could buy anything. Still nice to be at an event where everyone is happy. When trying to leave the event I realized I must have left my key in and/or headlight on again because my battery was dead and I needed a jumpstart (after trying to kick the bike over a bunch of times in the heat).

It sounds like the ride from Cary, NC to Newport News was "nice" and even included a bridge. Don't you just love my descriptions and level of detail?!

I made plans with other friends and hung out with my brother and his wife. After leaving I realized how little we really talked about things while I was there.

up ~9, showered, Notes. Have to pack, txt Adam, let Liz&Bevin know plans (talk to Dave 1st). Craft fair today?

Thought about waste: old shampoo, drinks.... "Cheapos" where everything gets refilled in re-usable containers.

Alex and Melissa's book collection, magazines, coasters, antique-y mirrors,... their style.

Thought about book.... started off trip wanting to get away, but also decide what I want to do. Brain has been free to scheme and plan and run amuck. Some good ideas but also learning that the world is progressing without me and we (as a whole) are on the right track. We'll get there. future will think of this generation as the one that learned our actions have consequences. Teenagers in terms of industrialization.
