Stopped at desert view tower. Was somewhat jealous of the guy's lifestyle who "worked" there.

Ate at In-N-Out.

This is actually where I think I tried unsuccessfully to buy a windscreen for my bike.\

I bought a hitchhiker a pack of cigarettes but made him take a "horsie" ride on the machine outside of the casino we were stopped at. This could arguably have been the high point of my trip.

Found a very back road hot springs that wasn't well advertised and was apparently near exploding something or others. When camping there I was told rattlesnakes had been seen so I set my tent up on top of a picnic table because I assume snakes can't climb? Water was warm at least.
