Our COVID-19 Response

New Borrowing and Returning Materials Policy.

In keeping with the relevant protocols of our new normal the following changes to operations have become necessary.

The School Library Media Centre plays an essential role in supporting the staff and students of BATCE, and we are working towards assisting in the achievement of the organizational goals for September to December 2020 Term.

Library Help Desk

  1. During this time the library has establish a Help Desk for staff and students.
  2. Please add us to your WhatsApp @ 727-6686 (Lower School) and 727-6502 (Sixth Form).
  3. Use this medium to reach out to us with any queries, research assistance, renewal of books etc. We want to help you!

Borrowing books with Curbside pickup

    1. All staff and students must fill out an online form just click on the "Student" or "Staff" buttons below to borrow book/s. An email will be sent to you with the date and time for Curbside pickup.
    2. Students will be allowed to borrow ten (10) items for the period of one (1) month.
      • Renewal of item(s) will only be allowed if item(s) are not in demand.
      • To renew you can send an email to batcelibrary@gmail.com (lower school) or batceslmc1@gmail.com (sixth form), insert "RENEW" as the subject.
      • You can also WhatsApp us at 727-6686 (Lower School) and 727-6502 (Sixth Form).
    3. Teachers will be allowed to borrow teaching texts for the academic year and supplementary items for the term.

Returning books.

    1. Students are to return books via the Book Drop which will be housed at the side of the Auditorium.
    2. Books will be quarantined upon return so it will take a few days before items are checked in and back in rotation.
