Class session 1 (11 to 12):
Improv Games - Master John Inchingham
Master John Inchingham the Fool introduces newcomers to the wonders of improvisation and provides veteran performers with a chance to test their abilities. Improvisation is taught both as an art-form in and of itself and as a means of creating ideas for the aspiring bard (and for the seasoned tunesmith with writer’s block). The class is fun and informal. Come prepared to move and to make a fool of yourself!
This is a Participation/Performing class.
Circle of Fifths: Keys and Chords - Isolde de la Ramee
Learn how to draw a Circle of Fifths and Fourths and its two most important uses.
Age 18 and older. No class size limit, 20 handouts. Class will be mostly lecture, but students will be given a blank form to fill in as they learn the information.
Method to the Madness - Owen Alun, OL
The how and why of bardic madness -- history, philosophy and game design -- a session with the original GM.
Age 12 and older. This is a Discussion class.
Tips on Constructing a Glastonbury "Lite" Chair - Erick der Rotnacken
Baron Erick reviews the steps in constructing a Glastonbury style chair that folds flat (no pins or pegs!). Its lightweight, easily holds 300 lbs., and can be decorated in a variety of ways.

Class session 2 (2:30 to 3:30):
Performance Techniques That Actually Work - Count William of Fairhaven
The Art of Performance is often overlooked on its own merits. This class aims to help performers sharpen their performance skills. Lessons from the road on performing your improvements from a professional musican and performan with over 30 years of experience. We will cover interaction with audiences, small changes in styling and appearance, sound improvements and much more.
Age 18 and older. Bring yourselves and instruments are welcome. This is a Participation/Performing class.
Welsh Poetic Forms 1: Short Forms (Englynion and Cywyddau) - THL Dai Gerdwr
The 24 forms of formal Welsh poetry can be divided into 3 groups, and the shortest are the Englynion (3-4 line stanzas) and Cwyddau (couplets.) This class provides an overview of these form, with some discussion of their earliest appearances and in period examples. Knowledge of cynghanedd (Welsh Poetic alliteration) helpful but not required.
This is a Lecture class.

Age 12 and older. Materials fee is $7 total for handout and kit. This is a Hands-on Learning class.

An introduction to medieval "fan fiction" and how we can use it in our bardic adventures.
Open to all ages. This is a Lecture / Discussion class.
