Gmail Add-on

This adds an icon to your Gmail mail editor as shown here, indicated by the red arrows on a computer (left image) or Android phone (right image):

When you click on this while typing an email, a list of various versions of today's date (before and after sunset) is displayed. When you select one, it is inserted into your email.

Holy Days and Feasts are displayed if they fall on the day being displayed.

You can also move to the next day or the next month(s) to see those dates. This is a great way to get the details for the upcoming Feast.

Installing the Add-on

As of 12 Speech 175 / 4 December 2018, the Add-on is "unpublished" and waiting for approval by Google for inclusion into the Gmail Add-on Marketplace.

To install it, follow Google's instructions to Install an unpublished add-on. The "deployment ID" that you will need to use is:

Privacy Policy

The Add-on uses no personal information and your emails are not read. Your email address is known to the add-on and is included in activity logs available to the developer. Your email address will not be used for any purpose unrelated to the add-on.
