Cultural War

The Muslims under Cultural Occupation

and the Imposed War

The post-colonial occupation

The West's colonial occupation of the Muslim world has ended. But the cultural and ideological occupation still exists. In former colonies, the imperialist armies may not be visible in uniforms, but their soldiers –both the natives and the Westerners, are still present in millions to promote their ideas, culture, commerce and education. They work in both the civil and the military establishments of these countries. So, with the formal departure of the imperialists, their way of thinking, living, eating, drinking, dressing and politics did not die out, rather flourished. In such cultural milieu, the Westerners enjoy a huge asymmetrical advantage in the Muslim lands. As fish freely swim in water, they too, freely roam in these former colonies.

Such cultural occupation has proved to be very cost-effective for the imperialists; it has reduced the cost of any further military occupation. Therefore, to perpetuate the occupation, it has been the strategic aim of the colonialists to build cultural armies, as well as culture-friendly civil and military infrastructure from day one. What the British did in their former colonies, the USA is doing the same in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and in many other Muslim countries. In these occupied Muslim lands, the Westerners with their culture, ideas and life style are not considered alien, rather taken as sociable friend. On the contrary, due to heavy intoxication with the Western faith and culture, the Islamists with their prophetic form of belief that entails Islamic khilafa, sharia and jihad are looked down as incompatible stranger. Therefore, the practitioners of the untainted Qur’anic Islam face tremendous disadvantages and enmity in their own land. In many countries, they find their places only in prisons. They are labelled as terrorists -as an easy pretext for bloody persecution.

The cultural cum ideological occupation does not come alone. It brings cultural cum ideological conversion; and prepares ground a for long term political, cultural and economic slavery. Religious conversion makes the prophets and heroes of that religion highly respectable to the new converts. Thus, Middle Eastern Jesus got acceptance as father cum god in the West. Likewise, with the cultural conversion, the heroes and the icons of the imperialists became the heroes and icons of the occupied people. As a result, the Muslim history with their great heroes finds its place in the graveyard. Not only their thoughts and beliefs, but also the cultural products of the imperialists like their dress, stories, history, cinemas, even dolls and toys get huge market in the occupied lands. To make the situation much worse, the greatest catastrophic fall-out of the cultural occupation lies elsewhere. Like AIDS in human body, such occupation kills the ideological immunity of the community. It destroys the power of resistance against any military and cultural aggression of the enemies, rather welcome them. Hence the US army found their friends in Kabul and Baghdad to welcome them. And in 1971, the Indian Army too, found their friends in Dhaka. Under such occupation, the whole country works as a cultural industry; even the people appear no more than cultural products. In Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar and in many other Muslim countries, these were the people who gave sanctity to the USA army in their midst, and now beg their continued presence.

The USA and her NATO alliance want to preserve the occupation at any cost. They call it defence of the world order. But the real agenda is to protect the West’s old colonial legacy. Creation of Israel, division of the Middle East into more than 20 pieces, occupation of the Arab land, installation of the USA and NATO forces in the heart of the Muslim states are indeed the parts of the so-called world order. Such exploitative colonial infrastructure is crucial for the exploitation of oil, gas and other geopolitical potentials of the Muslims. It is also needed for their continuous subjugation. For sustenance of such occupation and to provide legality to their military aggressions, the old colonial countries have formed a formal statutory body called UNO with its full control in their own hands. To keep the majority member states of UNO deprived of any influence in the decision making, democracy has been banned in this world body. The UNO itself has been made hostage in the hand of five big atomic powers; thus got dispossessed of the moral power to condemn even the most horrendous crimes on earth! So the brutal occupation of Palestine, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and the massacre of the millions in those countries by the occupiers went unabated and unpunished, let alone stop it. Not a single man was brought to the justice. Such crimes of the big powers were not only overlooked, but also given legality –as was the case of the US occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq.

The cultural empire

The West’s colonial empire has collapsed. But its cultural empire has thrived. Unlike the geographical frontiers, its cultural and ideological frontiers do not end at national borders. They have taken it into the heartland of the most of the non-Western countries. The Muslim countries are no exception either. Indeed, the concept of global village and global culture were invented only to justify such a borderless cultural empire of the imperialists. The USA and its NATO alliance want to defend such empire at any cost. President Obama’s recently announced war of ideas in fact reveals such determination. The Western imperialists understand that the major challenge to their cultural empire will not come from any military power, rather from an ideological cum cultural power. After the demise of Soviet Union and its communism, such a challenging power generate only from Islam. China or India may emerge as big economic or military power, but have little to offer ideologically or culturally. They have their own ideological voids. To fill in those voids, the Indians and the Chinese are moving fast towards Western economic, cultural and political paradigms. The defeat of Soviet Socialist Union in Afghanistan and its collapse in the immediate aftermath in fact owes to the ideological and cultural force of Islam. Islam offers the same challenge to the capitalists. And the West didn’t miss the message.

During Soviet era, the USA and its NATO alliance had long cold war against the Soviet bloc. Now it is mostly against Islam and the Islamists. The other nations of the world may have some political or economic conflicts of interest with the West, but they have no ideological or cultural quarrel. Hence, the Chinese, the Indians, the Russians and the Japanese who live in the West can easily melt down in the Western societies; their religions or ideologies do not put any barrier. These religions do not delineate any formidable codes or conducts for their economic, cultural, judicial or political practices. Hence they can take any diversions in those areas. Since Islam is a complete code of life, it does not give such free option. A Muslim has to comply with the Islamic prescription in every aspect of life. Hence, unlike followers of other faiths, the Muslims stand distinctly different even in non-Muslim country. They appear in every fields of life with the visible markers of religious, cultural, ideological and political identity. But such visibility of Muslims in millions has not been appreciated in the West; instead, these have turned them markedly Islamophobic. To them, London appears as“Londonstan” or England as “de fact Muslim country” –as evidenced in recent articles published in the British press. For the similar reason, the Muslims in India faces regular riots of annihilation.

The cultural imperialists of the West can’t perceive that any of non-western ideas, cultures or values should challenge their own idea, culture and values. They perceive it an attack on their own pride. They envisage that the global village must have a singular brand of culture, idea and values, and that must be the Western one. The USA and its NATO alliance built huge armies not only to protect their political and economic interests, but also to protect their cultural and ideological interests. Hence, they drop bombs not only on arm depots and war fields, but also on madrasas, academic institutions and houses. They kill not only the armed jihadists, but also the unarmed scholars. They confiscate books, and close the internet sites. The West is ready to tolerate the practice of Islam only within the confines of mosques or prayer mats, but not in political, judicial and educational premises. Now they claim that Islamic penal code, law of inheritance, gender segregation and even dress code go against the basic human rights, hence invite the UN watchdogs into such premises to interfere.

The Western colonial power also tried to alter the demographic specifics of the Muslim lands. They did it to serve their own strategic interest and to weaken the Muslims. They implanted millions of Jews in Palestine and many millions of Chinese in Malaysia. Thus they sowed the seed of continuous instability in the Muslim heartlands. But the colonisation of Muslims’ mind and intellect with the western ideas was much more massive and worse. In fact, with the recent resurgence of Islam, such project has received more importance. The Islamophobic propaganda and slander against Islam and its prophet has attained new dimension. They now keep close monitoring on the educational systems, the text books and the school curriculum of almost every Muslim country. They have already forced many countries to restrict the teachings of Qur’an in schools and colleges. The US ambassadors in countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan have started visiting religious madrasas. The books on Jihad are now being confiscated. The mosques and religious institutions are also brought under close surveillance. However, the imperialists do not need to do such surveillance on their own. In almost in every Muslim country, they have enough foot soldiers to do the job. They are only giving the orders; the cultural converts are doing the rest.

The hypocrisy

Defending cultural identity, ideas and values is a big issue in the West. They want to eat, drink and dress as they wish. They want to enjoy their lifestyle wherever they like. Thousands of Muslims can be killed in the streets of Cairo, Dhaka, Syria, Kashmir, or in any other parts of the world, but that is not a big issue for them. They are ready to do business as usual with the brutal killers, thieves and human right violators if they fall in their political line. So Shaikh Hasina of Bangladesh, General Sisi of Egypt and Maleki of Iraq are not their enemy. They are not even ready to condemn their well-documented brutal atrocities. The main focus of their foreign policy lies elsewhere. They want to make the planet safe only for their own citizens. It is the key issue in their foreign policy that every US citizen and citizens of NATO countries must have the full safety to enjoy their freedom in every nook and corner of the planet. They call it basic human rights. They expect that their nudity in beaches, vulgarity in clubs or pubs and indecent attire in any street must be protected even in Muslim cities. Even they wish that their secret killers, like their missiles and drones, should have the right to kill whoever they like to kill. No one should have the right to arrest and prosecute them. In January 2011, Raymond Davis – a CIA agent killed two innocent Pakistani citizens in Lahore. He was duly arrested by the police. But the Pakistani judiciary couldn’t put him in the dock, let alone prosecute him. Arrest of Raymond Davis raised huge hue and cry in the US administration. At the end, the Pakistani government had to let him go free and drop the murder charges. On the other hand, if a Pakistani had killed a US citizen in Lahore, he would have been taken to the USA soil to face the trial. Such asymmetry is indeed a naked display of global imperialism.

On human rights issue, the Western hypocrisy runs much deeper. They are not ready to give the Muslims even the basic rights for practising their obligatory religious beliefs -even in most decent way. In France, in the name of defending the state’s secular values, serving pork on the dining table of Muslim students has been justified. The Muslim students are denied the obligatory halal food on the ground that Islam has no right to enter into the public place. Whereas anti-Muslim arrogance was given free access onto the very personal space of the Muslims, so their dining table gets pork. To support such anti-Muslim bias, the French ultranationalist leader Marine Le Pen -head of the Front National party, announced the same anti-Islamic rhetoric with much venom. She declared, "There is no reason for religion to enter the public sphere." It is significant to note that Marine Le Pen is not a social or political outcast. She has a recent upsurge in her popularity. Her party has won local council election in many cities. So she is not alone with such anti-Muslims venom. She has recently revealed her determination to make the Muslim life much difficult in France. She has declared, in Front National controlled cities, the school cafeteria will not have any non-pork alternative.-(The Guardian, 15/04/14). The French parliament has already made wearing headscarf a punishable offence in schools and public places. With the new surge of ultranationalists, it can be easily assumed that many more anti-Islamic rules are on its way.

It is no more secret that anti-Muslim bias is an essential element of Europe’s secular politics. The creation of Israel in Islam’s heartland by the West and the unquestionable support for all of her war crimes are indeed the eye-catching signs of such bias. In such anti-Islamic milieu, it is not easy to get planning permission for a mosque in any European city. In Oxford, the city council did not give permission for a mosque with beautiful dome and minaret for many years, on the ground that it will alter the city’s architectural feature. Hence, with the growth of Muslim population, overcrowding of the mosques in Europe has become a regular feature, especially at Friday prayer. Thejummah congregation thus causes huge spill-over into the neighbouring streets. This causes another incitement to the anti-Islamic ultranationalists. Le Pen described the Muslims praying in the streets comparable to the Nazi occupation of France, and threatened with prosecution. (The Guardian, 15/04/14). In many European countries, animal rights get more preference to Muslims’ basic human cum religious rights. So, in many states, halal way of slaughtering has been banned. War is being launched against Islamic practice in the name of protecting the national culture and values. Pork has come to the forefront as a weapon for such anti-Islamic fight. Pork heads are thrown into mosque or hanged with the mosque doors. In Denmark, supply of halal meat in the kindergarten and nurseries was labelled as a discrimination against Danish traditional pork meatballs culture, hence stopped in the name of protecting pork meatballs. Recently in the UK, there was a huge hue and cry against Muslims’ cultural practice in some government schools. In some Muslim dominant pockets of Birmingham, the Muslim governors of the state schools stopped sex education and introduced boys and girls segregation. The British press and the education authority were infuriated with such measures: as if “UK has become de facto a Muslim country”. (The Guardian, 15/4/14). Such minor changes were labelled as Muslims’ conspiracy to teach Islamic fundamentalism –hence a threat to British society. This way, they preserve their zero tolerance against Islamic practices and launch war against Islam. But if the Muslims show their zero tolerance in their own countries against infidel practices in clubs, pubs, brothel houses, casinos, cinema halls, theatres, banks and beaches, what will be their reaction? Does Islam allow bringing such major sins and infidelity to the public places?

The foot soldiers

During the colonial occupation, the prime objective of the imperialists was not to raise colonies of their own people. The main emphasis was to raise colonies of the cultural and ideological converts who will work as their khalifa –the viceroy in the occupied lands. Even now, the army, police, judicial and bureaucratic enclaves in most cities of the former colonies are indeed the colonies of these cultural converts. The newly constructed NGO enclaves also joined the same rank. Generating such an army of cultural converts received so much importance for protecting the colonial interests that Lord Cromer –the former British Consul-General and Her Majesty’s agent in Egypt and a well-known imperialist statesman, wrote that there is no question of giving freedom to a Muslim country until a generation of such converts are fully ready to take over the charge. The success of such colonial project was enormous. The colonialists left the Muslim lands, but the rule remained in the hands of these colonial viceroys to pursue the same strategy. Pakistan presents an eye-catching example of the success. After the departure of the British, the charge of the State of Pakistan was taken by Ghulam Muhammad (bureaucratic servant of the British, later on Governor General of Pakistan), General Iskander Mirza (military servant of the British, later on President of Pakistan), General Ayub Khan (military servant of the British, later on President of Pakistan), Justice Munir (servant in the British judiciary, later on Chief Justice of Pakistan) and General Yahiya Khan (military servant of the British, later on President of Pakistan) and other civil and military cohorts– the exact brain-child of the British. Hence to dismantle the Islamic project of Pakistan, the British didn’t need to fire a single bullet, these viceroys perfectly did the job. The same production sites –built by the colonial imperialists, are still serving the same purpose. Hence the occupation hasn’t really ended. In such occupation, Islam has no space. So, the Muslims cannot fully practice their own faith in their own home lands, especially in the country’s judiciary, politics, education and civil and military administrations.

Despite long rule in the Muslim world, the western imperialists couldn’t create much religious converts. But their success in producing cultural converts is huge. The colonial educational system with its thousands of schools, colleges and academies and its cultural institutions like clubs, casinos, pubs, theatres, music industry, film industry, radio, television, sex industry, and sex tourism worked as powerful tools for such conversion. Even the colonial state institutions like the army, the judiciary, the bureaucracy and the state media worked as powerful industry for cultural cum ideological transformation. These institutions still survive to accomplish the same task. Like the predecessors, the new generation of products are equally committed to annihilate any Islamic projects and Islamists in the Muslim lands. Hence, the imperialists need not deploy their own soldiers to kill the Islamists. These home-grown foot soldiers are doing the job, rather more aggressively. The massacres of the Islamists in Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Algeria, Syria and many other countries give factual evidence to that. The USA and the NATO countries only needed to pass on their heavy appreciations and the much needed arms and ammunitions.

The slave industry

The education and cultural institutions are the most powerful tools for refinement of humans’ souls, character, behaviour and deeds. Hence, Allah –the Most Wise and His prophet Muhammad (pbuh) didn’t initiate the refinement of men and women with mere prescriptions on prayers; the starting point was education. So it is very significant to note that Iqra (read) is the first word of the Holy Qur’an. The same tool can be effectively used to push the humans to the opposition direction. The colonialists didn’t fail to understand its strength either. They used education as an industry of indoctrination of their colonial subjects, thus caused huge moral perversion. They showed their talent not only in taming and training dogs and other animals, but also in taming and manipulating humans. They built many educational institutions in the occupied lands. But the main purpose of these institutions was not to bring any moral highness in the students, rather to cause moral, ideological and cultural degradation to the extent that serving the colonial masters as their most obedient slave received the highest priority in life. In India, the British colonialists established thousands of such schools, colleges and universities. But the total number of discoverer, scientists, social reformers or philosophers produced by all these institutions was fewer than the products of a single affiliated college of Oxford or Cambridge or London University. But the huge success of these colonial institutions lies elsewhere. These could produce millions of the most obedient servants for the British Empire -who even celebrated such servile status as a decoration piece in their life. Therefore, for ruling India for 190 years, the British didn’t need to import their own people in millions, these Indian slaves did the job for them quite effectively. Their success in taming the Indians was so massive that the so-called educated Indian Muslims –along with other Indians, not only ran the administration for the colonial masters, but also fought shoulder to shoulder with the British to occupy other Muslim lands and kill the fellow Muslims. When Iraq, Palestine and other Arab lands were occupied by the British, the majority of the foot soldiers were non-British, and the number of the Muslims was huge. In fact, these institutions thus proved to be the most powerful slave-industry in the whole human history. The pets never forget their masters. So the British legacy didn’t die in India. Not only the British Commonwealth –the legacy of colonisation, but also the British-induced laws, judiciary, education, bureaucracy and culture still survive in this former colony.

Even in modern days, most of the cultural, ideological and political foot soldiers of the anti-Islamic coalition in former colonies are indeed the products of these colonial institutions. Although they are grossly misfit amidst their own Islamist country men, but readily fit in any of the non-Muslim civil, military or business bodies in any part of the world. Hence, after arrival in any of the non-Muslim countries, these cultural cum educational products only need to change their inherited tag –the nationality. The colonisation of Muslim minds thus has worked overwhelming in the globalisation of western ideas, values and cultures. So, Islam is badly defeated in its own lands. So the infidels’ courts, the anti-Islamic laws, the brothel houses, the music industry, the sex industry, the sex tourism, the pornography, the long beaches with scarcely dressed men and women still survive in Muslim countries, rather with more propensity and glamour than the colonial era. The obligatory sharia law, the Islamic values, the Islamic dress code, science of Islamic governance of state survive only in the book shelves. During the last days of their rule in India, the British colonialists, despite their all efforts, couldn’t stop the emergence of the largest Muslim state –Pakistan in the world map. The newly jubilant pan-Islamists of the Indian subcontinent could do the job. In those days, the pan-Islamic beliefs of the Muslims could guide them transcending the ethnic, linguistic and geographic boundaries to achieve that miraculous success. But within only 23 years, the deep seated colonial establishment of the proxy army, the subservient bureaucracy and the political and cultural pets of the enemies could easily undo the whole Islamic project of the Indian Muslims.

The curse of occupation

The holy Qur’an is the greatest gift of Allah –the Almighty for the whole mankind. The success in this world and in the hereafter wholly depends on strict adherence to the Qur’anic guidance. Only this way, man or woman can please his Creator and reach haven –the summit of real success in life. But such guidance does not come through mere recitation of this Holy book, rather by its deep understanding. Hence understanding Qur’an is the most important task in life; and most crucial for humans’ moral, behavioural and intellectual development. And the state –the most powerful organisation on earth can’t be kept outside this extremely important human development enterprise. Hence imparting Qur’anic knowledge –the most importance knowledge on earth, is not only individual’s own duty, but also the most important service delivery area of the state.

Islam sets its hierarchy of priorities: both for the individuals and the state. Building roads, creating hospitals, constructing industries, developing agriculture and making scientific discoveries are very important in any country. But such works can’t get priority over building humans. The early Muslims could raise the finest civilisation on the earth only due to full adherence to the hierarchy of priorities delineated in the Holy Qur’an. They didn’t build pyramids or Taj Mahal, but made towering humans. But such hierarchy of priorities crumbles under the occupation of the non-Muslims and the non-Islamists. They set new priorities: both for individuals and for the state. And in the new set of priorities, promoting deviation from the Qur’anic road map stands on the top. Instead of following the Divine roadmap, servitude to the rulers rather receives much importance. The state-induced perversion may even go to the extent that people may worship their rulers as god –as happened in the days of Pharaoh and Nimrod. And in modern days, such indoctrination has turned into massive state-run industry.

Non-incorporation of Qur’anic knowledge in education indeed nullifies Allah’s most important project on earth. Hence, it is the greatest curse of the occupation of a Muslim land by the non-Muslims and non-Islamists. Allah –the Almighty initiates His works through education. Education is His greatest tool to show the right path –the siratul mustaqeem to the believers. But the non-Muslims and the non-Islamists use this tool to cause deviation from the Divine path. In the void of Qur’anic teaching, even the most educated men or women in any society grow up like another predator species on earth. In the name of enhancing professional skills, the educational institutions then increase the hunting skills. The whole world thus becomes the wildest hunting ground. The concepts of colonialism, imperialism, capitalism, survival of the fittest, ethnic cleansing and the World Wars took birth in such dehumanised recipe of education.

Education: the first casualty

Under the occupation of the non-Muslims and non-Islamists, Islamic education becomes the first casualty. It is the most catastrophic outcome of the enemy occupation. How Muslims can grow up with Islamic faith without Islamic education? Economic plunders by the colonialists are indeed peanuts in comparison to that loss. In order to save the Muslims from such disastrous consequence, Islamic prescription is quite serious. To repel any foreign aggression, jihad becomes an obligatory ibadah. In the early days of Islam, the Muslims paid the highest sacrifice to fortify such defence. More than 60% of the companions of the prophet (pbuh) had to sacrifice their life to meet the enemy challenge. Spending even few minutes in the frontier as a defender of the Muslim state has been valued as superior ibadah than spending the whole night in nafal prayers.-(Saying of the prophet (pbuh)). But in later days, the Muslims deplorably failed to protect the border. All the calamities, deviations and perversions in the Muslims’ life, indeed owe to that failure. These are the curse of occupation.

Muslims could build huge number of mosques and madrasas even in an occupied land -as happened in India under British occupation. But it was impossible to teach true Islam in those mosques and madrasas. The occupying army would never tolerate such teachings of Islamic fundamentals that could cause revolt against their rule. Like today, even in those colonial days, the imperialist rulers kept close monitoring on every school and mosque. In the name of education, they allowed only pseudo-education to cause perversion in Muslims’ beliefs and deeds. It only helped sustain the enemy occupation. Even in a non-Muslim country like today’s India, thousands of religious madrasas are allowed to operate. The British too built religious madrasa in India: Kolkata Aliya Madrasa was a British product. But what is the outcome? With the increase of such madrasas, the deviation from Islam has not diminished, rather has greatly increased. In those madrasas, Tableeghi Islam, Sufi Islam and other brands of Islam got their origin, but not the prophetic Islam that entails jihad, sharia and khilafa. The enemies had their embedded cronies not only in the Muslim army, judiciary, bureaucracy and politics, but also in the religious institutions.

Invading army always firstly takes the control of the country’s cantonments. Muslims’ real cantonments are their mosques and madrasas. These are the most important institutions of Islam. Hence, it will be wishful thinking that under any enemy occupation these fortresses of Islam will be allowed to remain unoccupied. In fact, like Muslim countries, the mosques and madrasas are also the enemy’s occupied territory. The occupation was so detrimental that in the name of religious education, they corrupted the fundamental teachings of Islam. Hence, the prophetic Islam with jihad, shariat and khilafat is not only alien in the fields of secular politics, but also in the premise of these mosques and madrasas. In colonial days, the deviation of ulamas was so massive that they joined even the secular politics. In India, thousands of Deobandi ulama constitute the work force of secular Indian National Congress. Even the Hindu secularists in India celebrate their contributions to their political cause. The visit of Indira Ghandhi –the Prime Minister of India in the eighties to Deoband Madrasa –the biggest madrasa of the Indian Muslims, is indeed the recognition of such contribution.

The greatest crime of the occupation

The most accurate marker of a civilisation is its law: not its mercantile goods, building, highways or industries. The country’s law correctly depicts the degree of humanisation of people’s souls, mind, morality and values. Ancient Egyptians built so-called civilisation. They built wondrous pyramids and palaces. But they had no civilised law that would guarantee equality and justice to the people irrespective of their religion, class and ethnicity. Instead, slaughtering the Israelites and using them as slaves were the law. Like cattle markets, slave markets also flourished. The Greeks and the Romans also built civilisations, but those were built on bloody exploitation of the weaker people. Instead of bringing equality and justice to people of various race, colour and religion, the Roman laws were rather divisive. The non-Greeks or non-Romans had not rights. Killings of slaves received legality and were accepted as sport and entertainment. The failure of western civilisation is also huge. It is indeed the tail end of Greco-Roman civilisation. Imperialism, colonisation, capitalism, slave trade, plunder of weaker nations, ethnic cleansing, atom bombs, chemical bombs, biological weapons, World Wars and genocidal killings are its major features. They killed more than 75 million people only in two World Wars: the sum of all genocidal killings in whole human history will stand much fewer than that. The deaths in ethnic cleansing in America (killings of Red Indians), Australia (killings of Aborigines), and New Zealand (killings of Maoris) and in wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq were also many millions. The Western killing machines are still active. Can scientific advancement justify such unprecedented massacres?

The greatest failure of the humans is not in inventing engine, industries and weapons of mass destruction; rather in defining what is right or wrong. A country’s law indeed display such failure. For framing sound laws, it needs nonpartisan approach with holistic understanding of the seen and the unseen -which a human can never possess. These are beyond the human wisdom. It needs equal love for all humans –irrespective of their creed, colour and ethnicities. So the Westerners took thousands of years to understand that racism, slavery, ethnic cleansing, colonialism are crime. Islam understood it as a crime from day one. They are judgements on same sex marriage, drugs, alcoholism and homosexuality are still confounding. Formulating law with full objectivity, equality and justice is the domain of Allah –the All-knower. That is why even the greatest saints of the mankind –the prophets, needed the Divine guidance to frame laws. So the prophet Moses (AS) was given canons in the Torah and the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was given shariah in the Qur’an. That is why sharia –the final testament of Allah, is the best law on earth. The Muslims could build the greatest civilisation on earth due to this shariah –none was above this Divine law. But those who stand for the Satanic mission, they deliberately oppose shariah and fight against the Divine project. Here, their enmity is not only against Muslims, rather against Allah –the Most Merciful.

Before the colonial era, the Muslim world had a different picture. Every Muslim country had sharia as the state law. In fact, besides sharia law, the Muslims didn’t know any other law. But the imperialists outlawed sharia in all Muslim countries that came under their rule. It is the greatest crime that the colonial power has committed in the occupied Muslim lands. Even after their departure, the new rulers are being provoked to keep sharia out the judiciary. In many Muslim countries, even raising demand for sharia is a punishable crime. Such efforts are labelled as extremism. The political parties with commitment to sharia are outlawed. Thousands of the Islamists in Bangladesh, Egypt, Syria and Algeria and in many other Muslim countries are being killed or put behind the bar on the same pretext. Although, majority people of the Muslim countries claim to be the follower of Islam, but Islam has not been given any role to guide the country’s judiciary, politics, education and civil governance. Whereas, in the early days of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his rightly guided khalifadid not have any other law apart from the Qur’anic law. Following siratul mustaqeem(right path) and avoiding deviation are the two most important issues in human life. In fact, it is only one issue. If anyone can avoid the deviation, he can secure the right path. Failure to do so makes life a total failure. To keep a believer fully focussed on this issue, Allah –the Most Wise make it obligatory to recite the prayer for right path and avoidance of deviation in every unit of salah. this The Muslims have strikingly deviated from that prophetic path; and the state has become the most powerful machinery to sustain such deviation. With such deviation, how the Muslims can earn success –here and in the hereafter?

The imposed war

The USA and the other NATO countries want to maintain the ongoing cultural occupation at any cost. So, the Muslims are the victims of an imposed war. Wherever there see some visible efforts to end the occupation, these imperialists come to the forefront with their army, missiles and drones to reinforce the occupation. Occupation of Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Mali and bombardment of Somalia and Gaza, war in Syria, military coup in Egypt, bombing in Waziristan and massacre in Dhaka are nothing but the pertinent parts of the same project to perpetuate the occupation. But wherever there is an imposed war to continue the occupation, there starts the resistance. Indeed such war of resistance has already started almost everywhere. Since the Islamists are in the forefront and want to end such occupation and bring back the Muslims to the original faith and to the stage of global power, are labelled as the enemies of the West. Hence they want to annihilate them. They are given a new tag of terrorism and fundamentalism only to justify such annihilation. However, such new narratives are not new for the imperialists. Such vocabularies of terrorism and fundamentalism are being used again and again by the imperialists against those who resist their invasion in Muslim lands. Such abusive narratives couldn’t save their colonial empire. Can they save their cultural empire? They couldn’t win a war against 25 million Afghans. How can they win a global war against one and half billion Muslims? 20/4/2014

Could India have remained an undivided country? - Hindus blocked all attempts by Muslims to keep India united while protecting Muslim rights, by insisting on majoritarian rule, without safeguards for minorities. Forcing Muslim leaders to insist on a separate Pakistan
