October 12th, 2013 7:30 a.m. & 9:15 a.m.

Audubon Wildlife Society is planning our Ninth Annual Palmyra Cove Birding Challenge to be held on Saturday, October 12th. Our challenge will be to see as many bird

species as we can at Palmyra Cove.

Audubon Wildlife members and guests can participate by either joining:

• Bird Walk -- come out to Palmyra and bird with us for an hour or two or as long

as you wish any time during the day and add your birds to our total. Bring your

lunch if you will be staying. Meet in the parking lot at 7:30 a.m.

• “Big Sit” -- bring a chair and see how many birds you can observe from one spot.

Sandra Keller will be coordinating the “Big Sit.”

If you cannot join us in the field, support the club by:

• Making a pledge for each bird seen by the AWS Team.

The list of all species seen by the AWS team will be posted on our website:

www.audubonwildlifesociety.org All proceeds from the Palmyra Cove Challenge

will go to support the activities, programs, and goals of Rancocas Nature Center.

If you’re able to volunteer as an AWS birding team member and/or wish to make a

pledge, please complete the slip below: (see above for mail, email, or delivery info)
