My Ten Commandments

1) Let he whose audio is without fault cast the first stone (i.e. don't criticize other systems).

2) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's gear.

3) Let your ears, not sales pitches, guide you in selecting the right gear.

4) Thou shalt honor thy dealer, if he offers a great deal.

5) There is no such thing as "perfect" sound.

6) Higher prices do not guarantee better performance.

7) The more I spend, the less I gain in performance (Law of Diminishing Returns).

8) Audio excellence can be achieved without breaking the bank.

9) There is no shame in not owning the "best" gear or not having the "best" sound.

10) Retirement saving$ and family support supersede buying gear.
