Slice Derived EO

This is a system for determining the orientation of edges in a scramble along each axis. Edges will have their orientation flipped when an x or a y rotation is performed. When an edge from one slice is within another slice, its orientation will change depending on the rotation that is performed. So the edges have types versus being sticker based. The system allows a color neutral ZZ or other EO first method solver to decide from which side of the cube to start solving. It also serves as a natural explanation of why edge orientation is different, or flipped, after a rotation is performed. This is the first fully developed color neutral edge orientation determination system and was developed in 2022. At the time of release there wasn't yet a complete system compiled in a single place. There were mostly ideas discussed on Discord and intuitive, sticker based systems talked about by a few color neutral ZZ solvers.
