Association of Slavic East European and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES): a nonprofit, non-political, scholarly society - is the leading international organization dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia, and Eastern Europe in regional and global context.

Slavic and East European Section (SEES): The Slavic and East European Section (SEES) is one of the oldest sections of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. SEES represents approximately 200 librarians and specialists involved in Slavic and East European studies. In addition to Russia and the countries of Eastern and Central Europe, the section is concerned with library service related to the study of the Baltic states (Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia), Central Asia and the Caucasus.

East Coast Consortium of Slavic Library Collections (ECC): Established in 1993, the East Coast Consortium of Slavic Library Collections (ECC) helps to coordinate the activities of Eurasian area studies library collections located in the eastern United States and Canada. Currently, the ECC consists of twelve member institutions and includes ten universities and two research libraries.

Midwest Slavic and Eurasian Library Consortium (MidSlav): A consortium of libraries that works together to promote Slavic and Eurasian studies librarianship in North America and beyond. Member libraries work together to make patrons’ research experience successful.

Pacific Coast Slavic and East European Library Consortium (PacSlav): PacSlav was formed to promote the development of Slavic Studies resources in this region of the United States and Canada. The services provided by the Consortium are for the use an d benefit of the faculty, students, and staff of its member institutions.

Slavic and East European Information Resources (SEEIR): A peer-reviewed journal of that serves as a focal point for the international exchange of information in the field of Slavic librarianship. Information includes news of the profession, technical developments, reviews of the literature, original research, indeed everything that touches on the practice of Slavic librarianship in North America, the countries covered and elsewhere in the world.

ABSEES Online: ABSEES Online is the online version of The American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies (ABSEES). It can be searched by multiple fields, including author, title, publisher, date of publication, and subject heading. There is also full-record keyword searching. Covers Journal articles, books, book chapters, book reviews, dissertations, online resources, and selected government publications on East-Central Europe and the former Soviet Union published in the United States and Canada. Subjects covered include: Anthropology, Ethnology, and Archaeology; Culture and the Arts; Economics and Foreign Trade; Education and Scholarship; Geography and Demography; Government, Law, and Politics; History; International Relations; Language and Linguistics; Literature; Military Affairs; Philosophy, Political Theory, and Ideology; Psychology; Religion; Science and Technology; Sociology; Women's Studies. Covers 1989-present. Updated monthly. Contains 118,250 bibliographic records.
