Executive Council

About

The Executive Council oversees and supports the work of the various subcommittees, occasionally directing work or suggesting project proposals as needed, and is responsible for their membership. The CLIR chair works with ASEEES annual convention organizers to ensure that there are minimal conflicts in the scheduling of library-related panels, roundtables, and committee meetings and facilitates the submission of library topics for conference panels and roundtables for the ASEEES Convention. The chair and member-at-large coordinate quarterly contributions to the ASEEES NewsNet “Library and Internet News” column. Since 2009, the CLIR chair has served as an ex-officio member of the ASEEES Board of Directors.
