Theater performance of 'Princess Mononoke' started in London.

Last week, stage adaptation of a studio Ghibli animation 'Princess Mononoke' has started in London.

It was announced that Studio Ghibli and British theatre company Whole Hog Theatre to bring Princess Mononoke to the stage In 2012.

The first performances were carried out for a LondonTheatre and sold out in 72 hours a year in advance.

The play which features large puppets made of recycled materials, will be transferred to Japan In 2012 after its first run of shows in London.

The first stage adaptation for the studio was a musical 'Omoide poroporo'.
