Honestly, as I am a tired old man, the story was not so much touching like the past masterpieces of 'Spirited Away' or 'Totoro'.
However, in the time when there are abundant fantasy novel in which super witches or wizards with magic power are in fashion, this kind of fantasy film of tiny people without magic power might be very meaningful.
many Ghibli supporters in Tokyo queued to watch it and I guess most young fans loved it.
The film is based on a novel Borrowers which depicted the life of tiny people by a British author Mary Norton in the middle of 20th century.
