Simple Future

SIMPLE FUTURE

We make simple future verbs with will + infinitive (without to):

George will be here tomorrow.

HOW TO MAKE QUESTIONS:

Will + subject + infinitive: Will George be here tomorrow?

HOW TO MAKE NEGATIVES: subject + will + not (=won't) + infinitive: George won't be here tomorrow.

NOTE: After I and we some people say shall instead of will (shall not = shan't)

USE

We use simple future:

    • to predict the future: I think it will snow.
    • when we agree or decide to do things: I'll answer the phone.
    • when we talk about refusing or making promises: I won't happen again.
