Teacher Reflection is an important, embedded concept. Many teachers forget to reflect and only write changes in student activities, not in delivery of concepts. I have attached a document that teachers can use for all observations, current and future. It gives areas for teachers to reflect on each element by focusing on their Strengths, Challenges, and Future Goals. This way teachers can continue to add to their Reflection Document.
The self-leadership assessment is an awesome resource created by Center for Strengthening the Teacher Profession. It highlights and gives ideas for teachers wanting to move into the distinguished rating.
Evaluator Reflection is just as important. I have created a survey you can send to your staff to rate yourself in the same areas as you are evaluating. For example, each statement asks staff to rate you unsatisfactory, basic, proficient, or distinguished. A fun way to get your staff to give you honest feedback.
